Introduction:-The words which is generally used before a noun or a pronoun to show in what relation the person or thing denoted by it stands in regard to something else is called the preposition.
Literally the word "Preposition" means "that which is placed before"
Eg:-I have a book in my hand
He is fond of me.
She got off train.

1. The prepositions made of one word are called single-word preposition.
